CHECKING THE HORSERIDE MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES

Alliance for equestrian sport in Serbia and Olympic FEI discipline, in cooperation with the Riding Club "NONIUS" in the Gornje Medjurovo and with patronage of the City Municipality of Palilula, organized the program activity "checking the knowledge and ability to manage a horse". This activity was followed by Boban Džunić, president of municipality of Palilula; Predrag Ilic, general secretary of the Federation for Equestrian sport in Serbia; Rajko Dokic, the national team manager for equestrian sport of Serbia; Stanko Bozinovic, doctor of veterinary medicine, as well as many guests and friends of equestrian sports.

President of Municipality of Palilula, Boban Džunić, emphasized the good cooperation of KK "Nonius" with the Municipality, which provides young people practicing equestrian sport and the inhabitants of this part of Palilula rural development and sports tourism. According to Toni Ilieski and Jasna Ilieski from KK "Nonius", this program is aimed at testing new athletes - athletes who in 2014 will be involved in equestrian sport and is open to all interested parties who are already in the system of equestrian sports or recreational riding. Fourteen participants from Equestrian Club" Nonius "from Gornje Medjurovo passed the interregional exam today and tried to reach permit for competition riding. Alliance and the Commission for the equestrian sport of Serbia took part in testing, and the president of Municipality Boban Džunić supported the students. In order to arrive at the exam and allow for further competition in equestrian sport, it is necessary to exercise and learn for about one year. Fourteen participants from Equestrian Club "Nonius" arrived to this stage, and with the acquired knowledge came out today before the Commission.

Palilula Municipality supports KK "Nonius" for a long period of time as equestrian sports are increasingly gaining interest among young people. Equestrian Club "Nonius" has students of all ages, and it is never too late for show jumping, remote or recreational riding.
